At RadRe, we strengthen social cohesion through education. Our work is grounded in the understanding that a young person’s sense of belonging and identity shapes how they engage with the world around them. When students feel excluded or unrepresented, it can affect confidence, wellbeing and their connection to wider society.

We recognise that division does not emerge in isolation. It develops over time through misunderstand, misinformation, and a lack of meaningful engagement between communities. Left unaddressed, these conditions can contribute to polarisation and create space for harmful narratives to take hold.

In response, we design evidence-informed educational programmes and curricula that address these challenges directly. RadRe supports schools to deliver more inclusive and representative education, ensuring that students encounter a wider range of perspectives and experiences. This work encourages critical engagement and helps to build mutual understanding within the classroom.

Alongside programme delivery, we produce research-informed resources and ongoing analysis of social trends across the United Kingdom. This supports educators and school leaders in approaching complex or sensitive topics with clarity and confidence.

By embedding this approach across education and community settings, we equip young people with the tools to think critically, engage constructively with difference, and make informed contributions to society.

Our work is guided by four core principles:

  • strengthening the understanding of British history and heritage,

  • promoting social cohesion,

  • developing critical thinking skills,

  • and advancing media and political literacy.

Through collaboration with schools and local communities, we support the development of informed, resilient and inclusive learning environments, contributing to a more cohesive and stable future.
